The Talpiot division of Matrix has won three software development projects in the American market, for over NIS 2 million (December 24, 2006)

Matrix’s Talpiot division has won three new projects for developing and testing software in the American market, on an overall scale of more than NIS 2 million. Talpiot will carry out conversion projects for the insurance company American European Group (AEG) of New York, and for the companies Madison Title, specializing in consultancy for real estate transactions, and iBasis, which supplies international telephone services and calling cards sold over the Internet and in stores throughout the United States.

Because of the growth in activities in the international arena, and increased interest in Talpiot’s services, a new English-language web site is currently being launched: www.talpiot-it.co.il.

The Talpiot development center provides offshore outsourcing services through two development centers in Beit Shemesh and Modiin Ilite, based on the employment of ultra-Orthodox women.

According to Ronen Engler, VP Marketing and Sales of Talpiot, of the Matrix Group, “We are currently expanding our activities with customers around the world. We offer customers in the United States and Western Europe real added value, in the form of software development services at the highest level, at a particularly attractive cost, and with staff that it is easy for them to work with.” Engler added: “We anticipate that within three years, 25% of our sales will come from the international market.”
