Matrix has been selected by the Israeli Ministry of Finance to make government forms available online. The project will enable citizens to fill out forms on the web without having to visit government offices in person. The Talpiot division of Matrix, which employs hundreds of ultra-Orthodox women in two R&D centers (both located close to the road that connect Tel-Aviv with Jerusalem ), will develop the project. The system will be part of the Tehilla project (Government Infrastructures for the Internet Age) and will cost around NIS 2 million, spread over two years, with the option of further expansion and enlargement. A senior delegation from Nigeria visited Israel to participate in a first of its kind course in e-Government for countries interested in the field. The delegation visited Talpiot to review the offshore services provided by Matrix through its Talpiot development center and to explore first hand the possibility of employing high quality personnel via the center. The group studied twenty-five projects in a wide range of technologies that are currently under way at Talpiot. Menorah Group Chooses Talpiot Matrix Outsourcing Division Selected for AS/400 Administrative and Operational Reporting.(September 19, 2006)
The Talpiot outsourcing center at Matrix has been chosen by the Menorah-Mivtachim group to develop the company's operational and business insight reports.
