The Governor of the Bank of Israel, Stanley Fischer, has visited the Matrix Talpiot and development center, which offers offshore outsourcing in Israel (December 19, 2006)

It appears that the unique model of an offshore outsourcing service provider in Israel, as presented by Matrix, has provoked interest among managers, politicians and economists. Even the Governor of the Bank of Israel, Mr. Stanley Fischer, came to see for himself the model and the development center which employs women from the ultra-Orthodox sector as its main workforce.

Matrix’s Talpiot division is a development and software testing center offering top-quality services at competitive prices by comparison with other countries around the world. Through its training division, John Bryce Training, Matrix trains qualified women from the ultra-Orthodox sector to work in its two development centers in Beit Shemesh and Modiin Ilite.

During his visit, Stanley Fischer said that the Talpiot venture was indeed very impressive. Fischer noted that the venture is part of the trend of offering outsourcing activities in ultra-Orthodox communities to the Israeli and international economy. He emphasized that he believes in Israel’s ability to offer outsourcing services to the global market, similar to the Talpiot model.

The Talpiot development center is based on the highest quality workforce, made up of ultra-Orthodox women with qualifications that are the equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in computers or in a degree as computer practical engineers.
